    This webinar will explore the use of self-care within preservice (i.e., training programs) and professional settings to improve school psychological competence and services.  Presenters will discuss strategies relevant for graduate students, university trainers, and practicing school psychologists to emphasize the importance of building competence in self-care across the professional lifespan.

    Learning Objectives:
    At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
    1. Identify the importance of self-care within professional practice and to promote service delivery. 
    2. Apply self-care strategies to manage the unique stressors associated within the profession in both pre-service and professional contexts. 
    3. Promote self-care among trainees, university professionals, and practicing school psychologists.
    1 Documented CPD Credits/Hours   NASP is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. NASP maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
