Effective Responses to Challenging Behaviors: Building Student Connection and Improving Behavioral Health.
Students with ADHD or oppositional defiant disorder present with challenging behavior patterns. This presentation will increase your ability to meet students where they are at, work with your building team to better understand these types of behavioral patterns, and model and teach positive coping abilities. This webinar will also help you increase students’ understanding of themselves and the behavioral patterns; it aims to build positive connections between staff and students and increase students’ abilities when managing academic responsibilities and relationships.

Identify and label specific behaviors common in children with ADHD or oppositional defiant disorder.
Increase their number of strategies to respond to challenging behaviors when working with students or consulting with a building team.
Increase their number of effective responses to model and teach positive strategies to students.
