Dr. Ben Springer will provide strategies to promote optimism and acceptance among team members implementing behavior intervention plans and increase impact on student performance. Evidence-based, ready-to-use tools will be provided.

Learner Objectives
This session will help participants:

Design high quality, individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) that work.
Select evidence-based tools that build (and leverage) optimism in school teams tasked with managing challenging and dangerous student behavior.
Apply BIPs with their teams within response-to-intervention, multitiered systems of support, and professional learning community frameworks.

1.5 Documented CPD/CE Credits/Hours NASP is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. NASP maintains responsibility for this program and its content. NASP is a Washington Clock Hours Approved Provider.
