    Within a systematic consultation and intervention model for school psychology service delivery, this webinar will present a comprehensive approach to addressing the diverse and often unique needs of school-age children and youth who are immigrants or refugees. In addition to reviewing classroom, school, and system-level indirect (mediated) primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention/intervention services along with direct services to students and families, practical implementation of many of these supports in a large urban school district will be discussed. The presentation will share practical experiences from school psychology practice addressing the needs immigrant and refugee students.

    Learner Objectives:

    This webinar will help participants:

    1. Apply multidisciplinary consultation skills to facilitate collaborative partnerships and monitor the efficacy of interventions based on local needs.
    2. Assess the needs of immigrant and refugee students at district, school, and classroom levels, and design interventions to address these needs.
    3. Apply the principles of social justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in the framework of professional ethics.
