This webinar offers an overview of recent research showing the additive, positive effects of mindfulness-based and multicomponent positive psychological interventions across populations. Presenters will describe and demonstrate brief wellness practices that are rooted in the broader evidence-based practices of mindfulness, gratitude, cognitive–behavioral theories, and grit. These can be molded in a variety of settings including the classroom, clinic, personal life, and beyond. These exercises take less than 5 minutes and send a powerful message: We can make time for self-care at all ages and stages. Learner Objectives: This session helps participants:
Learn about areas of wellness practice that promote mental health and resilience.
Practice four quick activities for implementation into practice.
Brainstorm ways to integrate two of the practices into their future routines.
