Adolescence is a difficult stage of life, both for the adolescents themselves and for the adults whose job it is manage them. School psychologists are often required to assist adolescents and/or their teachers and caregivers. This presentation will discuss adolescents from a neurodevelopmental perspective and supply suggestions for effective interactions with them. This session is sponsored by the Convention Committee. Learner Objectives: This session will help participants
understand adolescent behavior from a neurodevelopmental perspective,
use nonpathological classification of adolescent behavior problems, and
more effectively interact with troubled and troubling adolescents.
