The 2020 pandemic has brought about increased challenges for mental health. Research indicates that individuals with ASD have significant risk for a co-occurring conditions. Comorbid disorders often exacerbate core ASD symptoms. With an outcome focus, participants will discuss emerging trends and use resources to develop an understanding of the impact.

Learner Objectives
This session will help participants:

• locate new and free resources for future professional development,
• understand the diversity within autism to help improve students’ and families’ lives, and
• create a kinder, more inclusive world.

1.25 Documented CPD/CE Credits/Hours NASP is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.
