Leadership Institute I
The Leadership Institute is a five-part online course designed to help school psychologists build and improve their leadership skills. The Leadership Institute is for school psychologists in all stages of their careers, whether they serve in an official leadership role within their school district or state professional association, or simply want to improve their ability to impact systems change for an enhanced role. The topics covered in the institute are as follows:
1) I See Clearly now: Visionary Leadership for School Psychologists
2) Lets Get Ethical!
3) Finding Your Voice: Effective Leadership Communications
4) Engaging Agents for Change: Building Effective Collaborative Leadership Systems
5) Putting it all Together: What it Means to be a Leader
The Leadership Institute has five 1-hour pre-recorded leadership modules presented by experts in school psychology. To earn the 5.0 NASP approved continuing education credits, participants must complete the following:
- Watch each module in its entirety and complete the online post-test
- Complete and submit the final Institute Evaluation.
Optional live chat engagement opportunities will be shared with registered participants via email. Attendance is not required for CPD. The live chats are an opportunity to connect with facilitators and other registered participants. Participants will have an option to select from multiple live chat opportunities. Zoom registration links will be sent via email.
