Self-Regulated Strategy Development (SRSD): An Evidence-Based Intervention to Teach Writing, Reading, and Mathematics [CC available]
This webinar will provide an overview of the theoretical underpinnings of SRSD. Examples of the core components of SRSD will also be presented to participants. The literature base supporting SRSD as an evidence-based intervention for varied academic skills will be discussed. Finally, repositories of reproducible resources to facilitate the implementation of SRSD in the applied setting will be furnished to viewers.
Learning Objectives: At the end of the session, participants will be able to: 1. describe the six stages of SRSD; 2. explain the research base supporting the use of SRSD; and 3. locate repositories containing materials related to the implementation of SRSD.
