    School psychologists address social justice issues in an atmosphere of challenging state and local regulations. This session discusses the historical perspective, ethical problem solving, and case examples to meet challenges. 
    Learner Objectives: 
    This session will help participants:
    1. Generate ideas and review practical strategies for addressing the pressure that is placed on school psychologists when professional practice conflicts with local or state regulatiory
    2. Understand the historical underpinnings of school psychology that were based in racist and discriminatory practices. 
    3. Develop their own approaches to managing ethical dilemmas that arise, given the changing state of local politics and school climate.
    1.25 Documented CPD/CE Credits/Hours   NASP is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. NASP maintains responsibility for this program and its content. NASP is a Washington Clock Hours Approved Provider.
