This session will unpack the benefits of effective self-management interventions in the schools, emphasizing practical tools to implement self-monitoring interventions with students demonstrating challenging behaviors. Participants will learn the specific steps to develop and implement self-monitoring systems to support students of various ages and developmental levels. The presenters will provide strategies for decisions based on data that is collected through self-monitoring interventions to further inform intervention fading and report progress.

This session will help participants:
Systematically plan self-monitoring interventions for use in schools.
Collaborate with team members to design individualized self-monitoring interventions based on each student’s unique profile.
Make decisions based on progress monitoring data from self-monitoring systems.
