In particular, the session will emphasize addressing the common pitfalls and challenges in assessing bilingual students while presenting best practices.This session is sponsored by the Convention Committee.
Learner Objectives: This session will help participants
understand and apply the multifaceted components involved in assessing bilingualstudents to increase participants’ cultural competence,
understand the common pitfalls and misconceptions in assessing bilingual students, and
identify best practices when assessing bilingual students.
