In this webinar, we will offer a comprehensive overview of CDC’s Mental Health Action Guide, including the research that shaped its development. We will detail each strategy outlined in the guide and explore how these strategies integrate within a multitiered system of support. Throughout the presentation, we will emphasize key considerations for incorporating equity into the implementation of these strategies, focusing on approaches to address the needs of students disproportionately affected by mental health challenges. Additionally, we will delve into two specific implementation tools, demonstrating how they can enhance system-level consultation efforts typically led by school psychologists.
