DS004: Come One, Come All: Advancing Early Childhood Systems Level Change
Learn about the implementation of systems level changes that foster preventive and culturally affirming practices in early childhood settings, particularly for young children from racially and ethnically minoritized backgrounds.This session is sponsored by the Convention Committee.
Learner Objectives:
This session will help participants:
describe how providing comprehensive and culturally responsive services in early childhood settings is consistent with the NASP Practice Model;
identify specific opportunities to analyze their current practices so that they might advance systems level changes in early childhood settings to improve academic, behavioral, and social–emotional outcomes for young children; and
formulate an action plan outlining ways in which they can implement preventive and culturally affirming practices for all young children in early childhood settings.
1.25 Documented CPD/CE Credits/Hours NASP is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. NASP maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
