Learner Objectives
This session will help participants:
1. Describe the nature and origins of community-based violence.
2. Describe how community-based violence affects students’ academic performance, mental health, and social–emotional well-being.
3. Develop culturally responsive strategies to proactively address the effects of community-based violence in schools.
