This session explores how embracing the NASP Practice Model can help attendees advocate for job roles that use more of their skills. Participants will examine their current practice and potential for change and will learn about strategies and resources available in the NASP Practice Model Implementation Guidebook. This session is sponsored by the Convention Committee.
This session will help participants:
1. use strategies to assess and evaluate the scope of services they offer as school psychologists and assess how their systems might support change,
2. understand how the NASP Practice Model provides a framework for role expansion, and
3. use the resources that have been developed for supporting the adoption of the NASP Practice Model.
