The use of applied behavioral analysis (ABA) is known to be an evidence-based approach to various behavioral and academic initiatives. This presentation will highlight ABA standards for use in the classroom setting for diverse behavioral and curriculum focused goals, including sight word recognition skills, math fact memorization skills, increasing desired behaviors such as mask wearing, reduction of problem behaviors, and more. Participants will learn how to initiate data-driven interventions, monitor progress, and conduct fidelity checks on individual programs. Learner Objectives: This session helps participants:
incorporate/apply behavioral analytic standards into classroom interventions,
design data-driven programming to inform decisions about student progress across academic and behavioral goals, and
design user-friendly, focused intervention plans appropriate for use by education support staff and parents.
