The ACT Matrix will be presented as a highly engaging, evidenced based tool designed to enhance resiliency and work through everyday challenging issues students face. It quickly “loosens up” resistant or struggling learners for collaborative, creative problem solving, both individually and in groups. This webinar training is immediately useful and structured to be implemented in counseling and classrooms to promote self-monitoring, self-regulation, and real time social emotional learning.
This session will help participants:
1) Establish the ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and training) Matrix point of view with learners in diverse settings to engage in collaborative conversations that get results and promote self-directed learning and resiliency
2) Utilize the ACT matrix to help teachers influence struggling students in groups and classrooms and increase prosocial behavior.
3) Immediately implement the matrix tool in counseling sessions
