  • This workshop is designed to teach techniques to improve positive outcomes of school-based anger management training programs with elementary, middle, and high school students. Anger management interventions will focus on Tier 2 and Tier 3, including group and individual cognitive–behavioral interventions. This workshop combines lecture, role-play, and videotaped demonstrations in order to provide hands on instruction for providing evidence-based interventions. Additionally, techniques developed to obtain and monitor assessment and outcome data to demonstrate a student's response to interventions will be presented. Finally, how to calm and meet the needs of angry parents will be discussed.
